The original vision drew from the Cal-Earth tradition, inviting students to shape the very walls that would shelter them. When fire codes called for concrete, the obstacle became poetry: domes rose, and oculi were carved into their crowns. From dawn to dusk, sunlight slips through these circles and drifts across the curved interiors — painting the walls in slow arcs of warmth.
