Raising The Prayers

We kept the land for trees and raised the prayers to the sky; this was EMKAAN’s approach to the iconic mosque competition organized by EMAAR, although our concept exceeded the given land for the project but we submitted the entry any way as we believed that this is how the future architecture of the mosque should be.

As the concept of Dubai Iconic creek tower, where the proposal was to be built, inspired by the Islamic mosque’s architectural feature “the minaret” we tried to complete the image by providing the second feature “the dome”. The proposal introduced a huge dome carrying a hanged structure where the prayers happen.
